Q) HOW LONG WILL SWAPTOGO.COM SEARCH FOR A SWAP LINK?

Q) WHERE DOES SWAPTOGO.COM OPERATE?
        
Internationally. Swaptogo.com has grown rapidly and has interest from several countries already but we are primarily focused in the UK and have properties available in most areas.

   
Q) HOW DOES IT WORK
        
How it works

For home-owners:

" You register your contact information, details and add photographs of your property and your new home requirements onto the Swaptogo.com database.

" The Swaptogo.com database will automatically and instantly identify suitable properties for a swap or part-exchange and email the links directly to you. The links will also be shown in your *My Matches area of your account profile.

" Once you have looked at the links and found something you like the look of you email the owner of that property directly from Swaptogo.com property page. As the match has to work in both directions the owner of the property you like will already be aware of your home as a potential swap or part exchange.

" The next step is to arrange a viewing with the home owner or their estate agent.

" The other home owner will then view your property.

" If you both agree to a property swap or part-exchange the process is then just like any other sale and purchase.

" Selling prices are negotiated and agreed, and your legal representatives are instructed to act for you.

For estate agents:

" Register to become a Swaptogo.com subscriber. List as many properties as you like for a competitive flat monthly fee.

" When you are approved as a member you will need to contact your vendors and applicants to establish their search criteria. Maximum Price, preferred locations, Minimum bedrooms, and type of property are the four basic elements to set up a property match.

" The bespoke Swaptogo.com matching system will identify suitable properties for a swap or part-exchange and email the links directly to you. You will also be able to track these online within your Swaptogo.com account

" You arrange the viewings for your interested parties and follow up with feedback and negotiate in the usual manner.

" When both parties are happy to proceed with a swap or part-exchange, and prices for their properties are negotiated it becomes like any other sales progression.

" You should be able to achieve a speedy exchange of contracts with such a short and secure chain.

" Job done Swaptogo.com should now be an integral of your presentation to win those elusive listings by offering another dimension to the estate agency industry.

   
Q) CAN PROPERTY BE REGISTERED ON SWAPTOGO.COM PRIVATELY, NOT VIA AN ESTATE AGENT?
        
Yes. Swaptogo.com serves both the private seller and the Estate Agency sector. HOWEVER IF YOUR PROPERTY IS ALREADY BEING ADVERTISED ON THIS WEBSITE BY YOUR ESTATE AGENT YOUR FULL AGENCY FEE MAY BE PAYABLE.

   
Q) CAN I REGISTER THROUGH MY ESTATE AGENT?
        
Yes. If your estate agent is a registered subscriber they are able to add your property to Swaptogo.com on your behalf. If your Estate Agent is not registered with us, ask them to consider it because it could benefit some of their other vendors.

   
Q) HOW MUCH DOES SWAPTOGO.COM CHARGE THE PUBLIC?
        
Swaptogo.com is continually reviewing its charges to remain competitive. At present our basic charge is just £4.99 for 1 month subscription. £12.99 for 3 months subscription, £19.99 for 6 months subscription or £34.99 for 12 months subscription. Subscriptions are renewed automatically unless they are cancelled. We have absolutely no further charges after the subscription fee is paid.

   
Q) DO I NEED A HOME INFORMATION PACK (HIP)?
        
Under most circumstance you will need a HIP. For more in depth details go to the link on our Home page. The penalty for marketing your property without a HIP where one is required is a fine of up to £200 per day.

   
Q) I AM AN ESTATE AGENT SEEKING REGISTRATION. WHAT IS THE PROCESS AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
        
The process is simple. Register via our registration form accessed from the Home page. Our subscription charge for Estate Agents per office is clearly displayed. You can pay through online subscription or Direct Debit monthly or annually. Estate Agents are able to list unlimited properties.

   
Q) HOW CAN I CHECK THE DETAILS OF MY REGISTRATION ON SWAPTOGO.COM?
        
You just login with the username and password which will be provided to you when you register. From within your account you can check; your property details, your property requirements, your profile, your matches, your messages and you can search our property listings.
